Australian speed skater Steven Bradbury was at last position since start of race, he was at last position even in last lap (and even in last 50 meters) but luck was with him and he won the Gold medal at the end. All of the other skaters were involved in a pile-up and fell down which made Steven Bradbury the winner. This happened in 2002 Winter Olympics at Salt Lake City ( Utah - USA ) .
